MOODY POWDER ROOM REMODEL

Moody Powder Room Remodel — Sacramento Area, CA

This compact bathroom was ready for a complete change of mood. The original space felt bright but dated — beige tile, chrome fixtures, and a walk-in shower that made the narrow room feel cramped. Our goal was a jewel-box powder room: intimate, layered, and richly detailed.

We reimagined the layout by replacing the shower with custom arched cabinetry in dark charcoal with woven cane doors — storage that feels like furniture. A marble console vanity on polished brass legs pairs with an ornate gold mirror and flanking sconces. Upper walls wear bold geometric wallpaper over deep wainscoting; the result is moody without feeling heavy — a small space with presence, texture, and a warm brass glow.
